The IAPT National Student Symposium on Physics (NSSP) is an annual national-level event organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to provide undergraduate, postgraduate and research students a platform to present research, exchange ideas, and engage with experts. Since its inception (2013), this prestigious symposium has been successfully hosted by several leading universities and institutes across the country.

The Symposium invites undergraduate, postgraduate and research students from Physics to submit their unpublished theoretical and empirical papers in the Symposium.
Selected articles will be published in Student Journal of Physics (International Edition).

On the basis of quality of research and oral/poster presentation Best Research Paper Award will be provided in each technical session during the paper presentation in the Symposium
Rs. 1000/- for outstation participants (With Accommodation)
Rs. 700/- for regional participants (without Accommodation)
Travel Allowance (TA) will be provided to a limited number of participants, subject to the availability of funds.

The Shri Vaishnav Trust has a proud legacy dating back to 1884, when compassionate Vaishnav cloth merchants of Indore laid its foundation. Over the years, it has grown into a dynamic trust dedicated to nation-building through education, healthcare, and social welfare. Guided by the Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapada Market Committee, the Shri Vaishnav Shaikshanik Evam Parmarthik Nyas was established in 1981, and since then has worked tirelessly to uplift society. Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (SVVV), established in 2015 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is a private university under the ageis142-year-old Shri Vaishnav Trust . Despite being young, SVVV has grown rapidly with over 7,000 students in various disciplines, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, dual degree, and doctoral programs in architecture, Planning, Fine Arts, Science, Engineering, computer Application, Management, social sciences, law, Agriculture, Paramedical sciences, Pharmacy, Education, Food & Nutritian etc.
The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) is a professional organisation established in 1984 under the visionary leadership of Late Dr. D. P. Khandelwal, with the aim of improving the quality of Physics education and enhancing the professional development of Physics teachers at all levels. Over the years, IAPT has grown into a major national organisation with more than 10,000 life members associated with nearly 1,500 institutions across India. It also has approximately 100 members from overseas. IAPT works through its Regional Councils spread across different parts of the country, promoting collaboration among Physics teachers, educators, researchers, and students. The association organises seminars, workshops, conferences, teacher-training programmes, and academic activities to strengthen Physics teaching and learning. It also encourages students through Physics Olympiads, examinations, competitions, and other enrichment programmes. IAPT continues to contribute significantly to the development of Physics education and the professional growth of Physics teachers in India.
